Love Struck by Andi Epimoni Publishes 12/1/26

4.5 Stars- A great second chance romance with a fun Cupid twist!

The main characters in this novel are considered divine beings but think along the lines of cupids.  They are archers who go out and shoot arrows of love at humans to help them fall in love and do great things.  However there are also breakers.  Breakers break up the relationships and do to this fact they are seen as less than in this divine society. Anyone who is not an archer experiences discrimination and do not get the same opportunies.  Demi is a breaker but she was born to a family of famous archers.  Her father is the director.  However he is retiring and Demi's protection will soon end and she could be in real trouble.  To make matters worse, her ex and love of her life Gray, accidentally misses his assigned target because he sees her.  He asks Demi to help him fix this mess.  Demi agrees because the missed target has an important destiny that will save lives.  Working with Gray is difficult though as he turned into a different person 5 years ago when he broke up with her.  Now he is following a legacy and has a beautifu archer girlfriend who is everything Demi is not.   While working together Demi and Gray begin to discover that not all is what it seems and their own love story might have been cut short.  There also seems to be something nefarious going on in their world.

A really fun and unique premise.  I enjoyed reading about a completely different society that definitely had some problems.  There is something not quite right in this society and the reader is left trying to figure out what is really going on. This adds tension and suspense that will keep you reading. Demi is also a great character because she is an underdog trying to right wrongs.  The romance aspect to this novel really worked well.  I liked that Demi and Gray had a history and that being forced to work together they discovered that those feelings were not completely gone.  However there was a lot of conflict and issues that arose so getting back together was not just a foregone conclusion. This was a really great and different romance.  I thoroughly enjoyed it.
